Msn not connecting?

Well the title says it all. Ive tried installing different versions and stuff, but it wont work. It works fine on my other pc... It said i might need to change my proxy settings , whatever thay are

check the status of msn at http://messenger.msn.com/Status.aspx if it still doesn't work when the status is up, check your internet connection settings and also if you are behind a router, try forwarding some ports that msn uses. I believe they are TCP connections and the internal & external port is 42193

ive got it working, i messed about with my internet settings for a bit. thanks anyway :E
