I work in IE6. Why use that png which doesn't work in IE6 when you can use the gif which is the exact same damn image and it works in ALL browsers.

Well considering that exact image was used on these forums for around 6 months, I don't think it has to be GIF.

Plus - Only noobs use IE6.

The PNG was not used. The GIF was. If the PNG was being used I would have complained about it. Maybe read through this thread again to refresh your memory. GIF is the only format accepted.

"ie6 is for noobs" doesn't refute my logic at all. Why limit compatibility for no reason at all? Not to mention the PNG is 3 times the filesize of the gif.

Updated that for your Dog--, looks better indeed.

Looking at the AIM, yahoo msger, and Skype one's they're not doing a great job either, so if anyone fancies knocking up a custom made one any time please post them here!

Requirements, same size, gif format, works well with both our tan and blue forum themes. Cheers.

I got rid of the white pixels from aim and yahoo (skype looks ok as it is), they're not perfect but they look much nicer on the blue scheme than the current icons.
