n!k0n - A Half-Life 2 MoD
Hi together, I decided to write a somewhat longer text which will explain you still more over my Half-Life 2 Mod.
I catch time on with my team:
My team consists Scriptern (C++, Bsq...) of me (Admin & Leader), of Mappern, Skin-Makern, clay/tone specialist (for good music, radio sayings and other one in the Mod), Scripter (C++,Bsq...) Newsposter, Moderators and too lastly Webmaster.
Naturally some members in the team are missing to us. If something from the things specified above can do it, writes me please (No beginners pls).
[ > Introduction:
As determined it surely already times, are Counter-Strike and Battlefield 1942 mean played Ego (- tactics) Shooter. If one would pack together the two games, last it reliably perfect the gameplay. Exactly we would like to reach that. With the engine of half-Life 2 we can make it true to provide a Mod which will fascinate the players.
[ > The Idea:
- Weapons:
A game that takes place in year 1945, in 2 the world war. Many weapons in the war were manufactured, which we will take over naturally. Everything, but means admitted. The AK47 became by Counter Strike a very much desired weapon, therefore she will find a place with security with us in the Mod. Mortars will bring more Action and tension into the level. Throwing-Knife's, which one can buy limited serve for it, whom one can settle also ohme firearms opponents from distance, naturally only with a purposeful throw.
- Level/Maps:
Some people found the level in Counter Strike somewhat too small, because one finds camper places much too little, or one the opponent by a complete one approximatelycourse around the map to settle cannot. Here much more tactics and larger interest in playing is added. In Battlefiel 1942 however some people find the maps too large, I do not understand, but if one does not have progressive movement means, like a car or an airplane, then one is at the ass and has hardly escape possibilities before strange tanks therefore we to average large maps will as it were provide, which are as large for instance a Virtel as the Battlefield maps.
- Models/Player:
One can select snipers, medics, and two different Models/Player, who are well meant for storming between 4 different Models in the play.
- Progressive Movement:
Motocross Military, Pickup's, Tank's, boats of airplanes and other one...
- Other:
A radar helps, for recognizing, where team members straight are. A purchase menu, specially for each Model, with different in each case weapons.
Further not betrayed...
