I saw "munch" at a cinema yesterday and was stunned. The movie is great! It goes back to the terror incident in the Olympics (true story) in the 60s something. And the terrorists kill some Israelian contesters (or the Palestina or Israel, always mix em up)

Anyway, its a bit after that when a group of guys, each proffesionals (or are they?) in their areas. They are on a mission to asassinate each of the terrorists. Its like 30 years after so the terrorists are old men living their old lifes in peace.

The first thing i noticed on this movie was that the camera work was GREAT, especially when it filmed the mirrors inside cars etc, the close up screens on people and everything, it was fantastic.

And the thing i noticed the most: The guns

In almost every movie, the guns have pwnage sounds and mussle fire etc etc etc....but this was different, this was REAL, it wasnt another main-stream action movie. When someone fires a gun...you actually jump out of your seat in fear, covering your head and wishing it to stop shoting. Its some trick that Spilberg has when it comes to this. I got so scared when they started shoting, it was so real...so...disgusting. When someone got hit..they actually GOT HIT, when they shot someone in the head with a sniper, a piece of the head actually flew apart.

I was disgusted with the gun fires, it makes me sick, i always thought it was cool...but this was the turning point, this movie proves what it takes to fire a gun...some people say its better to shot someone then stabbing with a knife, i think the opposite.

On other notes, the movie is NOT AMERICAN-ISH, thats what i liked. Its not another American-government-the world greatest-super secret-organisation-that owns the world-balblaba-shit....this is a cultural mix, from countries all around the world and mostly Europe, finally a movie that shows that America is not the only ones in this world...

There are many languages spoken in the movie, such as English, Dutch, Denmark-ish (lol), Arabic, Italian, etc etc.

This movie is a must see, it explains that we sometimes is as much terrorists as the terrorists is against us, that no matter how many we kill, more will come as replacement. It shows religion, belifs, war, morals, ethnics, cultures, everything that is going on in the world that has almost led us to a WW3. But at the same time it shows the lives of 5 men, coming together as a famely on a mission to asassinate, even if they are afraid or have second thoughts about killing an old man living his life with his famely, they do it together. Soon they realize that they to, are being asassinated.

The movie has a grip on you, you feel terrible, disgusted, guilt...people say this makes a movie bad..but no, this is what makes a movie good. For example, if a book makes you so angry that you throw it across the room, then its a good book because it tuched you really deep...

I cannot explain with words how good this movie is, the filming is so good, its like the best artists painting thousens of frames taken like 10 years on each frame, putting it together into a movie...its just un-explainable.

Steven spilberg also made Saving Privete Ryan, and if you can see, its quite realistic regarding guns and sounds...but its NOTHING compared to this, this really scares the shit out of you as soon as a gun appears.

Not to mention explotions, in movies you see a fire ball and a boom, but here, its...disgusting, its real, its LIVE, i really jumped of the seat for a sec panicing because it feelt like the explotion had tuch me.

A must see.....

I got really hungry everytime I read the movie title.

But yes MUNICH was an amazing film.

I'll be watching it this weekend.

I have my hopes up for something along the lines of "Schindler's List." (As in, style, obviously not content.)

It's pretty good. It couldn't hurt to read up about what happened first though.
