Music in G-Man Vid=Cool.

It's quiet, but the ambient background noise for the first video is perfect. It has quality, and it just seems to have the right atmosphere...i can't wait for the gameplay videos to see how that music sounds too.

I think the music in all the vids is perfect....its subtle and almost seems to be just ambient noise in the environment sometimes, but keys up when it should.

Yeah I think from what I have heard so far, the music is sweet. But whats the deal with HL1 music? I dont remember hearing any... perhaps i was too enamored with the game to notice. Did they really have music? I wonder if I could get it off kazaa (the soundtrack to hl) Perhaps I need to reinstall HL...

Yeah, the music was in the e3 trailer, too. Pretty quiet though, but I crank up the volume when I listen to the video.. gotta make the most of it

put ur hl1 disc in the cdplayer and play track 2 and up

The music in HL1 was quite good but alas was too short and too scripted . Seems like they will remedy this mistake in HL2 with more dynamic music, which is good since music adds a lot to the atmosphere of a game, just like it does to movies.

I never remembered the hl1 music either. must have been to busy smashing headcrabs. And the HL² music is awsome. i really like the one in the trailer, with the scanners etc. that music track was really cool

hl Cd, track 2 was pretty cool...it was marine fighting music. there was also a cool thumping track during "On a Rail"...the reason no one remembers the music was that it only played when you had the CD in the drive.

It also only played at dramatic moments rather than having a constant soundtrack in the background like most other games.
