I'll think of some more

I hate threads like this, they get thousands of replies, and no one actually pays attention to any after the first 20. ;)

You have exceptional taste in music I might add, here's a short list from me...

Radiohead
Coldplay
U2
Pink Floyd
Audioslave
Sigur Ros
Neil Young

I could go on, and on... but probably shouldn't.

My favourite bands would probably be:
Led Zep
White Stripes
Deftones

And I'll probably think of loads once I've posted this.
Also, I really like Radiohead and Jimmi Hendrix as well.

NICE! Sentenced are indeed awesome! Good choices.

And I can't agree with stabbing those others, unless it is the hip hoppers who drive by my house with the bass turned up so loud it makes my walls vibrate. :sniper:

Well, isn't it quite normal for Metal loving fellow to tell he has a chronic anger disease against popular music genres. ;)

Alright! The headbangers have arrived!

Faravid-Yeah, you do have point there. The guys on metal rules have pretty much explored that to its fullest. As long as somebody doesn't break out into a chorus of "St. Anger", I'm happy.

Chu-Good mix there. Good stuff!

Hi,
Some rap is ok, I don't like rap now a days becuase it seems to be the same beat all the time, but old rap is ok.

As for pop I hate it, talentless piece of crap. That also goes for dance but this is just my opion I have no problem if you like this type of music as that is jsut your taste.

But i much perfer rock, well old style rock (having had listened to it my whole life becuase my dad listen to it) Like Led zepp, Pink floyd.

Although I like some new styles, and I think that Glastobury (?sp) 2003 had the best line of of any glasto.

Rich

The new one? You mean Renegade Platinum Mega Dance Attack Party: Don The Plates? Yeah, it's awesome, but one night when I was listening to it, the CD started ****ing it up, so I took it out and noticed a HUGE scratch on it! ****! So I've just ordered a new one :(
I've also got Thinking of You, that's a great CD too!
I've never heard of The Venetian Snares? Are they great?!

EDIT: I've just found some of their songs on a website, even though the quality sucks, but it sounds pretty good! I'll go and check it out in my local electronica shop!
