Resident Evil movie was pretty bad, but getting on to the Doom movie they just completly f*cked up the original plot. I thought the Doom 3 story pretty decent not quite Half-Life esque but still pretty decent in that reguard.

In the Doom movie: Where was hell? Where were the big bad monsters like Cyber Demon? Extra cromosome? Now that's just retarded. I don't thing I remember the IMP's being able to through flame contrary to the game which it indeed did.

This just points out that history shows that hollywood has a way of f*cking up the story pretty bad. Giving a good game (or at least decent video game) a bad name.

Agree 100%. I don't know how much better it would've done at the box office. But personally I think it would've made it much more enjoyable to watch had they stuck to the story. They took what was a pretty decent story and chopped it down to a generic Scifi movie (with the blatant techno music to boot).

I thought the first was quite entertaining, but the second was a festering pile of horse manure.
