Yeah yeah....I know....I hydroplaned coming off a bridge with a bump....over corrected too much, hit a muddy hill, enough force to flip it over.....in other words I got owned but I am ok....RIP 2000 Integra GSR.

Happy to be alive though and unharmed.

PICS!

I demand it.

Nice to hear you're fine.

This is why we have advanced driveing courses... Ive done one and it really shows just how unprepaird you will be if this happens...

That avatar and your statement is just calling for a flame war.

Let the flame war begin. Tell me how your ricers are so awesome and Ill rip you apart with my v8.

Buddy, don't bring this stupid shit into here...v8's aren't the fastest thing around...shit I ripped a 96 GT with my integra...yeah v8's so rock...GTFO...

I would put the ones who whip out a stock v8 and parade around saying its faster than anything, at about the same level as the kiddies who take a honda, throw a body kit and some stickers on, and call it a racecar.......

I see more ricers wrapped around lightpoles than anyother type of sterotyped driver.. including WOMEN. sad.

Anyways, when hydroplaning, keep accelerating softly, you dont want to shift the weight to the front tires, cause when they grip you dont want to loose control as you did, keep the steering wheel straight. And if you where going too fast, well, thats what you get.

Once driving on the highway with incredibly slushy conditions, and low visibility, with gusting winds, went over a huge puddle, the wind threw my car sideways at 130 km/h, i was almost 45 degrees crossed over, what saved me? a cool head and my foot on the gas combined with minimal steering inputs.

I have a 95 cavalier, Its black. this baby can go from zero to sixty in like 7 or 8 seconds. (I know this sucks)
I know this kid who has an Empire international or something like that. Its a truck made by well empire (they make school busses) Its hideous but he outran a camaro.

Whats the damage on your car man? My friend flipped his car over (also a cavalier) and it cost like 2000 dollars to make it look like new again.

Flame war unnecessary, V8 v.s. Import will never die.

Let's all get over it already.

Anyways, sad to see the car go, glad you made it out ok. You got lucky, I had a friend in high school who wasn't.

The frame is so bad....its not fixable...on my driver side the window and metal was pushed over several inches...top of the roof was also squished up.

Come on man, pictures.

Also, debating this stupid rice thing is a waste of time and a waste of forum space. I was like that once, you will soon see there are a lot more important things to argue about ;).

We need pictars!!

Keep this thread around as the I totalled my car oops thread!

Did you have insurance? even if you did I doubt it covered all the modifications and stuff. Sorry man, Oh and don't worry about these tools asking for pictures.

to people who want pictures; He could have died and totaled his car, the last thing he wants is to take pictures for a bunch of forumites. grow up.

Sorry doode :(

Im glad your ok, now u can get some insurance pay ups and get a even shexayer car ?

He may only have liability so he may be screwed.
We should start a get disturbed a new car charity! (joke)

1. Glad you're ok.

2. Perhaps you deserved it. (Not saying you did.) But you were hydroplaning? You have to be going a pretty quick to hydroplane. =/ Maybe you should slow down next time.

You did say with a 'bump' though, so I'm not saying it was your fault. Shit like this happens unfortunately. :(

What is to hydroplane ?

Car reaches a speed where the pressure on the tires to the puddle you're going on negates the downforce of the car.

In simple terms: You glide on the water. Your tires aren't hitting the ground. So if you could keep your car going 60-80 miles per hour (Whatever, depending on the weight of the car) you could theoretically drive across a lake, if you could somehow keep the speed up.

Yeah I had full insurance, also GAP coverage...so most likely the loan will be payed off...The only mod I put money into was the shift knob and the jdm-ish taillights....that I just put on not to long ago :(

I probably won't get pictures....I don't care to see the car again...it was so beautiful when I got it....now it looks like shit...doubtful any pics from me people.

A riced Skyline would rip the shit out of your V8. Hell! a Skyline standard would rip the shit out of your V8 ;)

Glad you're ok disturbed, shame about the car though. :/

Please don't start a Ricer vs. American muscle arguement.

We all know my Step-dad's 72 Chevelle w/ 554 and Supercharger would blow you away... ;)

But seriously, I like both Rice and Muscle. I want a 98 Supra just as bad as a 69 Charger.

*Edited for spelling*

Haha my house was totalled -- beat that!

Shit, my mom is about to get laid off....this actually good it got totalled...I DO NOT have the money to afford it right now....I would never sell it for how much my loan was for, therefore I would end up paying out my ass for a car that isn't workable....So I am just hoping for a total loss, and GAP insurance to take over it...Then I can save some money for a beater, till I get some more money...

I spray painted racing strips on my car, does that make me cool?

Heh, theres more stuff on it too.
The previous owners crashed the car head-on into a redneck truck (totalled the truck, but the cars OK) so it has a purple hood, thus I can do what I want to it. I should take a picture sometime.
