My cat has a tumour

;( Its probably got a couple of weeks or months left to live. I've had that cat for nearly 11 years. Its been there even when my friends weren't. Its going to be sad living without it This is probably the worst time for it to happen... its like the final straw that brings my soul crashing down to the ground. So many problems...so many mistakes. So little in life left ot hold onto to keep me going... I'm the type of person who always tries to remain positive, but right now the closest things in my life are being taken away from me one by one. The cat certainly isn't the worst not by a long shot, but its just adding insult to injury. I can no longer even find comfort in the unconditional love of my favourite animal...

This might very well be my last...and it seems due to my new count... one and only post. Its just not worth it anymore. I'm going to take what little there is, and try to make something new from my life. Maybe I'l change my mind about this...I don't know.

But if I don't. Its been fun people. 2 years of my life I'l always remember.

I know how you feel about your cat man, my parents go a kitten when i was born, i grew up with a cat slightly older than me, she died 2 years ago, and she was 16 abouts. I cried for like 2 weeks straight, i'd never lost anyone/anything before, and she was like a sister to me seriously. I'll never forget her, and its so hard. Just appreciate what time you got left and i would advise getting another cat, because after having a pet, then not having one it feels so empty around you. Strength now though. Feel so sorry for you man. Good luck.

sorry to hear about your cat, it's really tough losing a pet. I had to put my dog down after 17 years and my one consolation is that I'll nver forget him ..I can still see his face even though he's been dead for more than 10 years

And i dont know your situation at all, but its important to keep going. If you keep going new things happen all the time, good and bad. Just look for the good.

I know how you feel.. my dog died over a year ago, he had something called a 'park worm'. He vomitted blood all night until that bastard vet was open and he finally died on his table.

Just be sure to treasure every moment you have with him.

Good luck Farrow. Just make sure your cat doesn't suffer too much, even if it means saying goodbye to him sooner, rather than later. If it comes down to it, have him put to sleep and bury him or cremate him and scatter his ashes somewhere.

I feel for ya man. I know what it's like to lose a very close pet, I had 2 dogs die in my life, and one be taken away from me by animal control to be put to sleep. All 3 of them were pretty much brothers and sisters to me. It's very sad to lose a close pet that you've lived with for a long time

Thats sucks I think my guniea pig had a tumor or something, he was old for a guniea pig too, but he lived for like two years after that. Maybe your cat will live a bit longer. And atleast you had him/her for that long, I bet it had a happy life

Thats sucks I think my guniea pig had a tumor or something, he was old for a guniea pig too, but he lived for like two years after that. Maybe your cat will live a bit longer. And atleast you had him/her for that long, I bet it had a happy life

My guinea pig died of cancer. It startet with a strange growth at the lag. After two months it was the size of an egg. He could barely use the leg. A gor worse, until one day, he didn't move in his cage. He was stiff and cold. That was two years ago, but I still remember it like it was yesterday. I especially remember his eyes, they were all dryed out.
