If the cd drive is truly fired then get twi flat head screw drivers and pry the tray out buy putting one at either end of the try and pulling the tray out.
Actually it should have an emergency release on the front of it. You'll find a very small hole just below the CD tray. Push something in there (the metal pin supplied with your drive, or a paperlcip) to release the tray.
. Yeah try that first... then whip out the screw drivers.
