My computer was pretty damn expensive but i have an e-cafe so i make a bit, well here are the specs

This sound like bullshit but its true


Asus Mobo (VERY GOOD!!)

Dual 3.0gigahert Amd Athalon Xp

Now i emailed gabe newel with the specs he said the lowest fps i would get is 80 on everything on max plus the lod on Highest

And that is a stupid claim considering they say the Geforce [Nforce LOL :D] 5900 will suck compared to the 9800.

And even if it has some truth in it, MAN that's a poor setup. The graphics card [Geforce Nforce LOL :D] is gonna be such a bottleneck.

there is a xp 3000+ ..dunno whether it's mp capable. usually you have to buy the mp 3000+ not xp. the graphics card..well..i'd have bought an ati. and who needs 4 hds, when you can have like 0.5 terrabyte for the price of the 4 36gig 15000 rpm hds?

3000+ is not 3ghz. Its more like 2.3ghz or something. If he had overclocked, he would have said it (people always brag about it, and clocking any AMD to 3ghz is pretty much, though I have seen 3.6ghz)
 
XP3000+ Runs at 2.1ghz. Dual athlons? Uhh maybe he means Dual opterons, but the highest is 1.8ghz. Lol fox, im guessing you either no NOTHING about comps, or you were intoxicated when you posted. Anyways, thanks for the laugh.

A 1mhz, 1mb ram, and 1 mb hd is faster than your comp, seeing as yours doesn't exist.
 
dual 3.0 amd is useless.

Not only cause an amd 3.0 is slower than 2.6C pentium... but hl2 wont take advanatage of duel processors.
 
oh and flat panels suck! (had to add that lol)

lmao i couldnt resist...for those temps, not only would you have to spend loot 4 a case, be very tech-savvy, but a refridgerator guy would have to charge your shizzle. could oc like crazy tho...my case sounds like a jet and i get 40-45(max load) cel...

if you were in the arctic for example :)
