Well I'm now working for the phone company that boofed my net up. I do 2 things, I dig holes for fiber optics, then i blow fiber optics thru a hollow plastic pipe. The bad thing is I do it in the Freezing Cold and in the middle nowhere. Its the type of job when you're driving down the road and see someone working and you're thinking, "holy cats, that job has gotta suck!". They cancelled school, closed the roads down, but they still called me in for work.

BLEAH!

That... Sucks :/

Were you forced to do that? Why not do something else?

I live in a small small town. I dont pay for Gas. And my Friend works w/ me.

Hey at least you aren't up in Michigan near canada in 17degree weather with 60+mph wind, thats what my cousin has to go through, via USCG.

...while I work in a job where I reside in a little store in the shopping mall, where I just stand behind a counter all day, safe and warm selling cell-phones and activating new contracts for T-Mobile and Nextel.:D

Seems like every job ive had I'm either in the ice cold or burning sun.

......cept Jiffy Lube

Heh. I'm up higher than that in North Dakota. The Canadian border is like an hour away.

Today is like a miracle, it's 9 degrees F out and there's NO wind for once. This is still nothing compared to what we'll be seeing in Jan and Feb. :(

I wish I had to work outside in the cold. I have to work with the ****ing public. I hate the public.

Im to young / lazy / ignorant to get a job of any kind :E

I had a job as a busboy, cleaning tables and stuff. The pay was pretty good for a teenager and the job wasn't particularly hard. That was until Hurrican Katrina tore up the restraunt and the owners sold it. Looking to find a new job soon.

I am 6 hours ABOVE the canadian boarder. Luckily I sell, repair and upgrade computers in nice warm houses. Being self employed is awesome.

Just think without you people wouldent have internet to go to hl2.net. So you are in fact a hero!

and I get to sit at home, making maps all day.
