It sounds to me like your 'friend' is only really interested in humilating you, by robbing you of the things you cherish. The fact that he is now sharking in on this new girl is a pretty clear indicator, that he doesn't have any real feelings for the first girl. His interest is in making your life a misery, pure schadenfreude.

The first rule of friendship is surely respect? Do you think this guy is showing you respect, or more importantly is deserving of yours? The more you enterain this cretin, the more he will make your life a misery. My advice is that you drop him like a hot coal, and certainly don't ever confide in him in future, despite outward appearances, he is no friend. If he asks you why, just be frank 'you ****ed me over, and I can't be doing with this sort of shit in my life, I don't need it and most importantly I don't deserve it' for example.

I'm 14 years old but let me tell you one thing.

I was in love. And she, well - «Let's be friends». And many other factors that are too personal to post here made my life reach rock bottom. And i got away. Away from home to a small apartment in a new building that was yet not sold. I stayed there for 1 night. I realized that it was stupid, the world would never give a **** about me. And got back to my family. Let me tell you, my friends and family came after me that night. And that meant something.

Whether it be intentional or not, they'll all let you down in the end. The only human you can count on is you.

Not that I ever allowed anyone to pull from a hole, but I do know some who have, you can't rely on them for that.

1. It's very likely they won't have the strength to endure it.
2. They may not be able to put up with it.
3. Many of them won't care enough to even consider doing it.

Just because of the general spirit of the thread, I will list all the crap currently happening in my life:

- I'm 20. I never really had a girlfriend.
- I only asked a girl out once (two months ago) and was rejected. She said I was too young (give me a break, I was 1 year and 3 months younger) and one other unimportant reason.
- I have maybe 1 actual friend (complete asshole).

So there you go. The thing I hate most is people saying "Wow you have a good job!" or "Wow you get straight A's in college!" Well there is a price to pay. It's not that I don't have time, I think my personality is just better suited to some things than others .... :x

yeah really!!! ugh, people are always like "i want your grades" or whatever, and that's all... it's like ok, all most people see are the grades.... which i suppose is halfway my fault since i'm quiet, don't really talk much.... but seriously it gets on my nerves. they're all thinking like you have nothing to worry about if you get good grades and there's really so much other crap going around. heck, i don't even know how they find out about my grades it's not like i go spouting them out everywhere. and then there's those idiots that try to cheat off you... well there was one but, argh!!!

Yeah .. and teachers/professors only add injury to the insult. If I had my way I would never raise my hand in class (unless there is some bizzare participation requirement). But once the teacher figures out you're the one who knows the stuff they go insane .. i.e.

- Passing around copies of your homework to the class because it was "perfect" Ok if you do it once. But some teachers do it over and over again .. without even checking if the darn thing is correct! (Yeah one time I made a huge mistake and she passed it out to the class. I was embarresed, but probably nowhere as much as she was)

- After asking the class a question, and everyone gives the wrong answer, she asks me. And sure enough I give the right answer. Everyone goes "OMG he knows everything!".

.. I thought stupidity like this would vanish when I got to college, but it only got worse. :flame:
 
Your day was bad? Well listen to this. I went to school and was so hungry but I had to wait 3 and a half whole hours before I could eat! Yea it was horrible.
 
It looks like there are ppl like me in this world... for a couple years there I thought i was alone.

for me nothing seems to matter anymore. Nothing is amusing or exciting and Ive become somewhat numb to emotions.

My dog was killed Christmas eve I think(I mentioned it on this forum). I saw him everyday.. he slept in my room. After about a day of hearing that he was killed I didnt have any emotions about it. I only knew that I should be sad. I was more annoyed at myself for not being more sad about it.

needless to say that isnt a reason for the way i feel it's just an example.
Most things are like that now. things just matter less and less.

I guess things are good right now. I should be having a great time but it just seems more like a lack of bad than good.

Ill prolly kick out of it soon. ;) siiigh i remember the good old days when i was young... everything was amusing then.

Seriously though...I have almost nothing to complain about compared to some people out there. I only have minor problems that I'll have to deal with one by one...but eventually...all my current problems will be worked out or at least minimized...but in their place..new one's will pop up. Life isn't some free ride...you have to work to make it good sometimes.

None of this is pointing fingers at you guys or anything..but it's just something I think about...

when i feel like shit, i listen to NiN.. and that usually helps.. try that.. assuming that alt-rock/industrial is the kind of music u wouldn't mind.
