My live Nine Inch Nails experience.

Head Like a Hole?
heavy...ish.

also freeman ruiner is on TDS not PHM. i don't even like PHM that much (omg heresy, pun intended because the downward spiral is fantastic) except for head like a hole.

kage pretty much laid out some of their better heavier songs. if you want an intense, angry album, get the Downward Spiral.

yeah i know Ruiner is on TDS but i have seen Zeus post a few times about PHM songs so i thought i'd warn him about what gets played live these days.
The Fragile is a hard album too but in a different way.

Ennui are you keeping any eye on a April 24 (or 26th?) Japanese release for both the Closure DVD and the "Everyday is exactly the same" single?
the DVD is something EVERYONE and their grandmother wants...and the single is rumoured to have 2 bonus tracks but nobody seems to know for sure what they are.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

so it was you who asked if i was Dr. Freeman over at the Spiral
cool...only one ticket tho?!? :O
you know...you coulda been nice like me and bought 2 tickets and offer the extra to a friend or another Spiraler looking for extra tickets :p

i have seats this time around...was on the floor for the London show and while its a unique experience, i did not particularly enjoy the pushing and stepping on toes part.

hehe :D
some of those songs in that list haven't been played live very much at all.
a few of them (We're in this together, The Perfect drug) are rumoured not to be played live because vocally, they have been very challenging songs in a live environment or the drums...

specificially, i heard We're in this together has only been played live a massive total of 4 times (The Perfect drug zero times, same with Into the void :p ) ever...relating to the new With Teeth release, Everyday is exactly the same was played only 3 times during the first 2 legs of the tour and then finally was added to the setlist for the early spring tour of the leg.
i heard Ruiner hardly ever gets played live.

anyway i hope for the summer leg of the tour we get to hear songs that haven't been played live much at all...heres to hoping

ah thats a shame. I don't know why they wouldn't play ruiner...its such a great song. oh well

Good luck hearing Ruiner, We're In This Together Now and Perfect Drug live. And anything not on a main album.

recently a good friend of mine sent me bootlegs of live stuff.

the list of the tracks is as follows:

Somewhat damaged
Get down make love
Reptile
The day the world went away
Please
Into the void
The big come down
Down in it
The way out is through
Even deeper
The fragile
No you don't

if anyone is interested, send me a pm or get in touch with me via MSN Messenger...a fair warning tho, some of the songs in the list have only ever been performed live once or twice and that means the its not the greatest live performance and 2-3 songs are in average quality.

They don't play We're In This Together? D:

Really getting into NiN now, they best come to Europe again! Gotta see em

nope.
that one plus a few others are speculated to be too challenging vocally in a live environment and other techinical issues too.
the ones that are challenging and have been played can be counted on one hand.

anyway my offer still stands.
