haha. riiight. you got me! im jealous, even though i have the fastest video card out with a cpu that is around the performance of an a64 3200+ chip getting 84fps at 1600x1200 2xAA 8xAF max detail on the HL2 VST. oh and also disregard the fact that i have 5 digits in the bank(courtesy of a recent inheritance) to spend on any computer goodies i may want(which will be a a64 dual pci-e SLI setup come new year)

fx-55's are damn fast, i feel happy for anyone who gets top of the line hardware, cause i know the feeling. its great

My order was send yesterday, and now I'm waiting for the mailman to show up. He's got my AMD64 3400+ and ASUS K8V SE Deluxe, combined with my X800Pro VIVO it should run HL2 pretty smoothly, I think...
I know, it's not top of the line, but my budget isn't that big either

Yeah most likely.. I ordered a nice NEC 21 inch( or 20 or 22 I forget..) so yeah I probley will. Depends.. I would like to keep it above 70 fps on average.
