Exactly what i was thinking when i saw thread title

When you get to the states, what route will you be taking? Highway 1 would take more time I think, but it'll be gorgeous. Highway 99, I-5, or 101, while they probably make for an easier ride, won't be as enjoyable. My friends and I do a ride from San Francisco to Guerneville (~80 miles) and a section is near 101. I hate that part. Back roads?
