Some of you know I live in a very small town, a little over 300 people. Anywho I moved there from Utah, and for some odd reason, most people from Idaho don't like people from Utah. It's because I'm Mormon, because they're Mormon too. So right from the Get-Go, half the people here hate me. I mean they HATE me, mostly the kids my age.

Recently theres been one kid in particular who really grinds my beans. I was talking with my friend on MSN, or who I thought was my friend, about waiting to have sex after marriage. She had recently lost her virginity and told me she felt terrible about it. Anyway, the very next day i'm talking to her on MSN when she starts telling me what her BF thinks of me. Calling me a Fuc*ing Fag and other things. I didnt care at all because he always says stuff like that about me, just like everyone else. But then he started talking about my sister, girlfriend, and mother who is in terrible health and spends a lot of time in the Hospital. He said he did all that because I was sticking my nose in his business with his GF. Then my "friend" starts calling me the same stupid names. I was VERY angry and fortunately was in another state when this occured, because I really think i would have gone to his house and gave him a mouthful of teeth, and I really dont like violence. Anyway, i cooled down and told my family why i was so ticked. They got extremely angry too but decided to let it blow over.

Then my sister comes home from school flustered because this kid has been calling her a bitch. This was the last straw, i was gonna either talk to him or his parents. Then the boys here had a Home B-ball game so I went there. I knew the kid was gonna be there but I wasnt gonna take care of things there....... My dad on the other hand approached him. First words outta this kids mouth "Fuc* off". I immedietly stood up and walked over. This good started spewing off profanity at my dad and got in his face. I went over, said a few things that got him even more pissed off, but i started laughing cuz the kid is such a turd. One of the guys hauled the kid away because I think if he stood there another second, something was gonna happen.

I really cannot handle this kid calling my sister a Bitch, he can say whatever he wants to me all day he wants, but not to my sis. What do i do? Cant beat him, im 19 and graduated. He's 16 so id goto jail and I dont know when to quit when im in a fight. Ill continue a beating even if the kid is on the ground, so i've decided not to take physical action unless he reacts physically. I've tried scarring the kid, I can be somewhat intimidating but he's too stupid to get the message. His dad is a total weenie and will not do squat. He just tells me to mind my own business. IT IS MY BUSINESS. This kid is a total punk. He's so intent on being a "bad" kid, he'll do anything.

I'm having a difficult time putting up with this. Everyone has their limits.
 
Listen to me carefully:

If you value your future, don't do anything physical in retaliation. Don't get into any run-ins with the law, or you'll totally **** yourself over. You'll lose just based on that. Maybe you'll win the fight, but you'll lower your position in life, and thus lose nonetheless. Just let it be. Sure everyone has their limits, but the ones who maintain their cool are the winners. The one's who lose control are the losers.

Even if it's self-defense, don't fight unless you really think your health is in jeopardy. It's just not worth the risk, and I'm glad you've refrained so far. The law bites hard, remember that.

Now, about the hate problem:

Just screw them all, who cares. You aren't doing any business with them, so you don't need their opinions on any matters. If anyone, such as this 16 year old, continues to harass you or your sister, talk to school authorities, or call the police. Use the law to your advantage, not theirs. Leave it at that, and don't waste your time with these ****ers.

Really, I hated when kids younger would **** with me, so I'd always find some kid, give him $20 and have him beat the holy living hell outta the kid.

That's still risking yourself legally, and is therefore unadvisable.
 
If he's making these remarks to her durring school, then speak to the principal.

I'm still all for the, "Ignore the little shit" idea. Granted it gets annoying, but what's the worst he's gonna do, look like a fool in front of everybody by spouting his mouth? He'll get what's comming to him soon enough..believe me.
 
A kid just came to our school last week and his name was Uriel, like you, but your 19 so nvm lol
 
Well maybe the third option could be to play the situation with brains.. like spread a rumour that some girl said he has a little penis, that usually gets them on the back foot if you can think of an untrackable way to start it off.
 
This kid is the equivalent of a troll - they just want the reaction. Don't let them have it. Laugh at him, make him the butt of jokes, visibly whisper about him when he's around etc. Like clarky said - mind games.

that is probably the best advice (and Clarky too) so far. if you can get into his head that would definatly be to your advantage. plus if he hits you do not hit him back, just press charges and get his ass arrested :)
 
wow talk about slef discepline, I would have beaten the crap out if that dude, which would just cause more trouble,like the others said ignore him or make fun of him dont get in2 a fight.
 
Man, i'd go crazy if I had to live in a place like that.. ugh, the gayness. Don't want to think about it.
 
Whenever I find myself in a situation like that, I find standing up for yourself is the best way to do it. I never fight, I never do anything that could get me in any trouble with the authorities, but I'll walk over to the person and ask him quite calmly what the **** he thinks he's doing. Typically, when you force people to think things through and ask themselves "just what the **** am I doing?" it helps. This may not work for everyone, but when I moved to MA from WI, I did what my parents and teachers advised and ignored people for five years, and didn't have a friend in the world. Then I started standing up for myself, and my life has taken a drastic turn for the better.

QFT...they only tell you to ignore people so you don't cause trouble or beat them up. They figure most kids can't figure out to handle things peacefully so they tell them to ignore the kids instead. Handle things like that and your whole life will be a whole lot easier.

But you aren't doing any business with them. So whether you talk to them or not has no impact on your life. Sure you don't have to ignore them, but I don't see why it's worth the trouble to try to fix the situation.
 
Because in the end, you need all the friends you can get. And if you let everyone make you their bitch, that's not going to happen. I'm not saying this is what you should do, I'm just saying I'm glad as hell I did.

Yeah, it's good to have friends, except with these degenerate types.

And ignoring someone isn't equal to being their bitch. Letting them bully you is.
 
I'm so sick this town. Last year, they had some kid come over from one of the other towns nearby to start a fight with me. The plan was to get me pissed off enough to hit him and have me expelled or arrested, because I had just turned 18 and he was still 17. Only reason Im still here in town is because I have family here, a few really good friends, and my Girlfriend.

I'm really scared they're gonna try and do something to my Girl and then I know I cant hold back. That's something that I will not handle at all.
 
So let them...then when you graduate from school kick his ass into a coma and hop town.

You should have your girl move to Utah and go to BYU while you serve the Lord for two years in some unheardof 4th world country. ;)

I would try talking to him. If that doesn't work get a restraining order like already said.
If they mess with your sister(s) or your girlfriend though I say take them out. I wouldn't have a second though about beating the crap out of someone who did anything to one of my sisters or lady friends.

Why don't you go pray about it and see what you should do? That's the best thing you could do right now.

Bring the authorities in the situation. People get scared when you mention them. Atleast, the ones here.
 
^ Ha ha this reminds me of these guys at the train station yelling random stuff at me calling me a fag, so I just brought a security guard over to tell them off; one hell of a hilarious owning.

He's calling you a fag with nothing to back it up, so why can't you out smart him?

Hmm we all gotta deal with bullies at sum point in our lives, not very pleasant bt still if you can handle it n try n put yourself above all the crap it'll turn out okies in the end, just be careful n think before you do sumthing even if you are properly angry n upset. This guy is obv a complete idiot, im sure u are much cleverer n can rise above it...

He's obiously an asshole. Don't attack him, just laugh at him when he's around. Kids like need to grow up.
 
Yeah, then on your last day in the town (If you ever move) put on a mask, groves (so no fingerprints) and a hoodie, then beat the shit outta him. Oh, and then burn the coat and bump the ashes in a river.
 
The point is the way he's making my family and girlfriend feel, not how I feel. Everyone here has something stupid to say about me and I really couldnt care less, which always results in me laughing. But when people say something about my family or girlfriend that makes them feel terrible, thats when I have a problem with it.

Man, I really hate hillbillies and hicks. I HATE WHITE TRASH.

Drive to his house in a van (borrowed) wearing a ski mask in the middle of the night. Then beat the crap out of him with wood and people you can get to follow along.

Then drink or smoke or do whatever you guys do to make yourself feel better. :E
 
Uriel, if it's just stupid shit, then leave it be. But if he starts getting physical or making serious threats, then start carrying around a ka-bar.

Then one day when he hussles you in a parking lot somewhere, probably on the way to Wal-Mart so he can pick up corndogs for Sunday dinner, just sorta jab it into his thigh.
