My thoughts on shield being removed from CS: Source

A shield.. if i was a genious figuring how i could slow a game down even more then i would've added the shield aswell, but, its just not CS

I don't have a problem with the shield it's self, but they should give the Ts a special weapon. Giving 1 team something and not the other hurts game balance.

Playing with shield = NO SKILLS!!
just watch KillingSpree5 and try to imagine Potty using shield.. its just lame!!! no skills no nothing!

the shield did require skill.

if you have your gun out your head is exposed, a good shooter would take you out easy.

If not then you can't shoot, he calls backup, the two flank you and stick a knife in yah gullet.

the shield didnt require much skill at all, just common sence. With a deagle its SO CHEAP. Cover up, look at the guy, aim at his head, uncover, shoot. the 5 step program to cheap kills. I always felt dirty using it.
