I hope, I hope, I hope Valve has enough bandwidth this time. Then again, "enough bandwidth for HL2" does sound somewhat like an oxymoron...

They have been slowly raising it, we were at 1Gbit at the rollover and we are now at 1.725Gbit, the beta phase was 2Gbit.

Then we have the missing servers, they apparently appeared then dissapeared and the only trace of them is in the increased total bandwidth.

Then there are servers 16-25 which still do not show on the status page.
They could be the auth & friends servers, they could be HL2 servers or they could be a mix of both HL2 & Auth/Friends servers.

The system has the potential to be ready for the unleashing of the beast, whether it does is another matter.

I just checked the server status page and all bandwidth is accounted for with the servers on show.
The appearance and disappearance of the servers was banded about here, I dunno how I picked it up, sorry!
