Urg, no offense, but these are all pretty bad. Do you have your game on low settings?
The only nice one was the Portal opening on C17, but then again, there are tons and tons of Wallpapers of that specific scene.

Pretty sure they don't even make 4:3 LCDs. They are either 5:4 or widescreen.

Why did you even choose such a low resolution for the 4:3 ones.

Ideally you want to release wallpapers in 1280x1024 (native 5:4 lcd) 1600x1200 (large enough 4:3 for crt users) 1920x1200 (16:10 widescreen users) and if you're feeling generous, 1920x1080 for those 16:9 people.

You can tell when I upgraded to better hardware and a different monitor. Many of these are old and I just decided to share them as well. If you want widescreen and higher detail just look at the 1440x900 ones. Not exceptionally detailed but I'm no professional.

Vegeta - 4:3 is standard aspect ratio. There's no such thing as 5:4. That would be one weird-looking monitor.

1280x1024 = 5:4 ratio, and yeah it's a common resolution for monitors.

Some feedback. Trake the screenshot at the highest possible resolution your screen can manage at highest detail including AA and AF so the pictures will look better. Then you can start thinking about rescaling to lower resolutions and such. The screenshots themselves seem alright otherwise.

Oh, you mean like nearly every non-widescreen LCD monitor in existence?

Yeah, pretty weird. If you had even bothered doing the math to attempt to prove I was wrong you'd see 1280x1024 is 5:4. You must be thinking of 1280x960 which is a commonly used 4:3 resolution for CRT users. Even if you suck at math you could have just done some quick googling to see you were wrong.

Don't talk to me about resolutions and aspect ratio :|

Yeah, sorry if I hit a nerve. I've honestly never seen one of those. Maybe it's a regional thing. I've shopped for LCDs and no store I've seen had anything but 4:3, 16:10, 16:9. I also found this:

Are you sure? I mean, 5:4 looks quite close to 4:3. Did you really look at what all the native resolutions on all the monitors were? You must be mistaken.

Also it doesn't have much to do with striking a nerve. It's more like, you said something wrong, and so I called you out on it. Instead of checking yourself before countering, you blindly told me that I was wrong, as if I would call you out on something without being sure of myself beforehand.
