anyone watch sharkweek? I love that stuff. The most interesting episode was called "sharkman". A dude was trying to use tonic immobility on a great white, he also free dives with them, it's amazing. It didn't work with the great white though, they are simply too huge. He managed to ride a 16 footer though. Check out the vid as he uses tonic immobility on Carribean reef sharks
