Nationstates hl2.net Region!

Indeed.

How long does it take for me to get a new issue after i've delt with the first one? 24 hours or?

You can change the settings to get 2 a day (1 per 12 hours) rather than basic 1 per day, which will also give you a population, economy and civil update every time you do.

The Democratic States of Anasynth (Scandinavian Liberal Paradise)

"Yeah, that's right."

The Democratic States of Anasynth is a tiny, environmentally stunning nation, notable for its absence of drug laws. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 6 million enjoy extensive civil rights and enjoy a level of social equality free from the usual accompanying government corruption.

The large government juggles the competing demands of Healthcare, Social Welfare, and Education. The average income tax rate is 26%, but much higher for the wealthy. A very small private sector is dominated by the Furniture Restoration industry.

Crime is moderate, and the police force struggles against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Anasynth's national animal is the amoeba, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the cell.

Anasynth is ranked 3rd in the region and 26,024th in the world for Largest Furniture Restoration Industry.

And I'm a UN member. :naughty:

The Republic of Former Terran States is a tiny, pleasant nation, remarkable for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 6 million have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The small government concentrates mainly on Law & Order, although Commerce and Education are on the agenda. The average income tax rate is 12%. A large private sector is led by the Furniture Restoration industry, followed by Soda Sales and Trout Farming.

Voting is compulsory and the nation is ravaged by daily union strikes. Crime is moderate. Former Terran States's national animal is the heron, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the dollar.

Former Terran States is ranked 2nd in the region and 14,595th in the world for Largest Furniture Restoration Industry.

This issue confused the hell outta me till i remember my national animal was the carrot XD

"The fact is, the carrot population is out of control," says Beef-Based Agriculture spokesperson Billy-Bob Chicago. "We have to do something about them anyway, so why not market them as tasty snacks? We could have carrot kebabs, carrot pies, carrot-on-a-sticks--the possibilities are endless! Let's not pass up this golden opportunity to provide a feast, if you will, for our economy."
[Accept]

"I agree that something needs to be done about carrot over-population," says random passer-by Aaron Thiesen, "but eating them? That's kind of gross. Let's just shoot the ones we have to and shovel their bodies into ditches like normal."
[Accept]

"I am shocked and appalled!" declared SPCA President Hack O'Bannon. "If anyone needs to be culled, it's us humans. The carrots were here first, remember? We need to take this as a sign to get our industry--agriculture in particular--to back off. The carrot is part of what makes Ikerous a great nation!"
[Accept]

well, the species is suffering severe endangerment already.. they are rather prone to exploding when nervous, and considering "my people" like discharging automatic weapons into the air for weddings/funerals/traffic jams/conversation etc... the poor things dont last long out of the nest. :(

Run your nation's day to day business by answering issues (or dismissing, if there is no suitable reply or nothing needs to be changed as far as the issue goes)

It's a lot of fun, there's enough issues to last months. A nice game to play for about 10 minutes a day, check your nation, how it's coming along, etc. Not like a typical 'game' to sit down for for hours, though.

It's all about taking care of the issues. It takes time...you can get a max of 2 a day...but if you handle the issues in the right way, your citizens will get happier or whatever blah blah blah blah blah

Apparently, my General thinks a few of you are "Tinpot dictatorships"
"We won't have a future unless we improve police numbers and rebuild the military, Oh, it's all well and good to have your fancy education and your nice cars, until some tinpot dictatorship decides to invade. And don't pretend like there aren't any of them in our region. Our number one priority has to be security."

Alright. Does your population increase w/ happiness.. or what? I noticed some of the old nations have like 2 bajillion members.

I Still Say, Leave This Feeble Crowbar Gulf, And Join The Holy Order Of Capitalism <-- Imagine that as capitals/yelling. It changed it automatically and I'm too lazy to retype.

Population increases with time.
