Need help building that computer? Look no more.

i just built my comp but i cannot see anything on my moniter.

my comp turns on fine...i dont kno what the problem is :(

Ah now you get to learn the art of troubleshooting. ;)
Does your PC POST? It should beep once to say "everythings OK!". If it beeps more than once with short and/or long beeps then something is wrong and the code tells you what to check out.

If there is no beeps then it isn't turning on really. Check wires, connections and memory, drive configurations. etc

dam im frustrated i just dissassembled the whole computer and followed the instructions and assembled it again and the same problem ocurred :(

this kind of stuff happens to me all the time like on the other comp which i threw away

yay i just finished building a new computer and got the internet up and running :bounce:

now i need a better vid card (currently own a 9600 se :()

if he has the money, and his other comp specs meet the requirement

I really don't care for gigabyte myself. Too many issues.

If it was me I would choose the Asus board over the Gigabyte even if I generally perfer Nvidia chipsets. hehe

If you perfer the Nforce 3 chipset then I would recommend something like this.

Any of them will perform very well.

Yeah, I wanted to go for a MSI 754-socket motherboard, but I heard they were having some issues with certain memory brands, so I went for ASUS K8V SE Deluxe.
