Need help making config files for Source Dedicated Server

I found a guide for creating the needed files for a good listening server, but what about the files for a Source: Dedicated Server running Half-life 2 DM?

Need more information - how many players? How much bandwidth? What kind of hardware are we talking about?

I would like to know this to?
mine is; 3.0 intel, 1GB ECC, dedicated linux, on a T3.
I have plenty of pipe, I would know if there is any way to set a awsome config. The pings are always double digits mostly 42 to 68 with 14 ppl. The HL2MP stays pretty packed most of the time. I wish steam would fix the url redirect so ppl could download maps faster.
Thanks.

I am just looking for a general guide, like what files do what, and what commands do what, etc.

I have a little HOWTO for a listening server... see if it is any use for pointing you in the right direction.

Link in signature.

Thanks Edge, I've seen that guide. Will a server.cfg file with some basic commands work ok? Are mapcycle.txt and maplist.txt files used in the same manner as in a listening server?

I'm going to turn this from a "how to make config files" thread to a "how to use" thread. How to use Source:DS for HL2DM servers! I can't even open the map drop down list in the GUI to change maps. I also have tons of maps in my map folder, but I can't add them to my map cycle from the gui. How in the heck do you get Source:DS working?
