Ok, the other day i was mucking around in Lightwave and i decided i'd make a little 2d drawing i did in a book at school, 3d.

Anyway, i've just modelled the head now, so far so good, he looks exactly like his drawing except for one thing

I can't get his hair spikey. any suggestions? Does anyone know any tutorials for this kind thing?

Even if you don't know how to use Lightwave but you know how to use 3DSMAX and know a solution i'd still like to hear it

I'd apply a noise modifier in 3dsmax, or make a displacement map.

Noise would look something like this.

Or you could apply an edit mesh modifier and just move the vertexes around till you create the spiky look.

Thanks that helped. It took about 5 minutes to fix up, now he looks alot better.

Ok He seem's to be coming along pretty well now
I've added a logo to his shirt and i've been working on the creases and what not. I'm kinda proud of it considering its the first time i've tried making a human (Well he is human but not like, really, ya get me?)

If anyone has any tutorials on how to make clothes or pants in lightwave or even 3DS Max that'd be great
