need help running maps

I am trying to create singleplayer maps to mess around on, I first made a simple map, i compiled it and i don't think anytning is wrong, so when i went to hl2 to the console and tpyped maps *
it didn't list it or when i tpyed map *mapname* nothin came up.

here is my compile log, don't know if anything is wrong or not.

I tried that, and it is a VMF file is is supposed to be that?
I just realized i miss worded my above post, when i try to type map *name* it says map is not valid or found.
 
when u compile it it turns to a bsp-file... just look where you have configured hammer to put the finsihed bsp-files, copy it from that location and paste it in the maps dir. Then it should work :)

to

c:\program files\valve\steam\steamapps\go kumike\half-life 2 deathmatch\hl2mp\maps
for hl2dm map or
\half-life 2\hl2\maps\ for hl2 map
or \counter-strike source\cstrike\maps\ for a CS map

also you can set it up to automatically copy it to your maps folder when auto launching after compile. Something like Tools>options(or similar name; the bottom one) then one of the top tabs, batch programs or something and the bottom box.
