need help, this is retarded.

i was trying different resolution and I tried the 1280x1024 reso. with an lcd in parentheses by it, being that I have an lcd monitor and all. But it now has a black screen that says, cannot display resolution, and I don't know how to change it back because the game will start but it will just be a black screen with that gay message. I know you can change the reso. in some cfg file somewhere or something. This is so stupid.

i can't get to my console though, i can't enter any commands because I can't see, all i hear is sound. my screen is black and says "cannot display this video mode."
