You are using a strap when you're standing up, aren't you? When you're sitting just balance it on either one of your legs...

im not sitting down to play, im standing up. i want my guitar to be at a 60 degrees angle without me holding it.

im already using a strap, its just that it tips down...bleh, ill ask some other ppl...

If you have a top heavy guitar, I think you just have to deal with it by holding it. Don't know of any special straps.

Try fiddling around with the length of the strap so that it becomes more comfortable...And no, the length of it hanging around your knees is not practical and will cause more harm than good in the long term

the prime rule of playing guitar is that you look like a **** if it's at the crotch level or below, wear it on your chest because that's how you can best play, think tom morello not papa roach

as for your problem i say just suck it up and hold it

tighten the strap on the side that is dipping, its common sense.

I think he means it moves like this

Like so?

Haven't even seen those in the guitar shops round here strangely enough. Weird.
Then again, I don't tend to search through the straps section in guitar shops.

He might have something similar to a BC Rich Warlock, which usually when you're not holding it up looks like:

Just man it up and hold it. Build those muscles. :p
