Need help with CD Ripping

All I want to do is listn' to my freakn' APC cd without having to use the cd. And as far as I can tell it might have some kind of security thing on it. I just don't know how to tell (unless these two things are clear enough signs, I've just never done this before)

I try using my Nero thing to save it, and it just wont go. It wont read the cd when I try to save the tracks.

And I have this thing called Audio Grabber. Its stupid just by itself because it HAS to read the cd at 1.0x ......so it just plays through the cd at normal speed. I gave up and let it do that and when it was done it gave me a set of wave files and mp3 files for the songs. They are just as long as the songs and the right file size and everything, but when i try to play them, I get no sound whatsoever.

So........what do I do?
I know they protect their CDs so people cant put there music on the internet, but I just dont want to deal with the freakn' cd every time I want to listen to one song off the damn thing.

And the cd rocks so much..........


[edit] And I know for a fact that it isn't illegal to do what I want to do, theres nothing wrong with copying somthing for only your use. The Fair Use provision says its ok to copy somthing......but if I have to crack an encryption to do it, then it is illegal.[/edit]

Good ripping program, freeware too (or used to be, not sure, haven't checked in awhile)

Also, you may want to try Music Match Jukebox, it rips CDs. Although, I'm not sure if the free version rips CDs anymore.

Music Match free does still rip CDs for reference...works great for me.

AFAIK, ripping games to your system breaks the EULA..

I could be wrong, though. However, to answer your question: no, cdex is an audio ripping program.
