im scaling an object that will look appropriate in the skybox. basically i need to get it 20 times smaller than it is now. now at the transform menu when i put in the scale factors, what would they be for making it 20 times smaller? i know its probably simple math to some, i just don't know though

ok i figured it out, it was simpler than i thought. i just divide by 20, and make it that many units for each axis. didn't have to use transform.

i dont know why, but i can be on a problem for a long time and not figure it out, but once i post a question on the forum, i suddenly figure it out just minutes later. maybe one of you is channeling psychic energy. i dont know heh

1/20 * 1 = scaling factor
But I thought it was 1/16th for 3D skyboxes.

1/20 = 0.05

1/16 = 0.0625

hope that helps.

ahh thanks, good to know. yea default is 16, i have mine set to 20 though

But does changing the scale actually have any effect? The source sdk docs make it sound like you can only go up to scale of 16...
