Seriously mods. I don't have the power to ban. I don't want it either (I'm only on these boards like 10 minutes a day). But you definitively need more admins....
We need to stop, delete, warn, ban, boot, kick, punch, drown, incinerate, kidnap, sell, gag, bind, knife, lapidate, scar.... much more...
 
All the mods have been taken care of, they won't be coming back.

I do encourage people to discuss HL2, Source, the leak, etc... I JUST DONT WANT THEM TO POST 2000000000 PICTURES, DOWNLOAD LINKS AND SOFTCORE PORN OF THE G-MAN.....

Discussion is good... links are bad... spreading the beta is BAAAD... why? Can you say cheats? spoilers? THE ****ING ARMAGEDON???? (sp)
 
The point is to bring some decency into the forum. Most people don't notice becuase they've only been on it or knew about the forum for the past week. The whole incident has attracted every annoying bastard on the planet to this site it seems. I've only been posting for a few days as well, but I've at least been lurking for a few months. I used to like the topics here.

I would have no problem banning people left and right. Sure, they'd get pissed but hey they know very well it would happen and they will chance it. There are plenty of other forums to use out there. If I were a mod, I would ban anything and everything that remotely violated the sticky'd rules. I would have no problem checking in from time to time to delete threads and ban people. It would weed out all the more annoying ones who have little to write worth reading at least. If I were the originator of this site, I would just delete all accounts and eliminate the forums for a month or two (or untill HL2 is out, whichever comes first). It would easily pick back up once it's opened, but at least the trollers and noobs would have found a new place to hangout.
 
The mods are doing the best they can. It will just be like this for a while.
 
I can be a mod. But they'll never accpt me because of my multiple personalities.
