Yeah, as the title says, I need a quick hint: I need to know what measurements (cm x cm) a 100$ bill has!

Thanks.

I don't have an $100 bills, or I'd tell you.

Just want to make sure you know that forgeries of american currency when they're the same size is very very illegal. it's okay to do at double or half size.

Ooooooook, is the double size 5.22 x 12.28 inches? :)

(I hear that all bills are the same size, is that correct?)

Well, I think a $100 bill is the same size as a $1 bill, although I'm not sure what the exact mesaurements are.

I'm fairly sure that they're all the same size but there might be small differences so that the cash machines can tell which is which, etc.

Ok, thanks for the help guys

No, I'm not going to 'forge' fake notes and go to the US to spend them ;) but also thanks for the warning.

lol if you're serious be careful, there's a special chemical in all bills that make them go a certain color when you draw on them with a special marker and almost all stores do it to bills over $20.

are you going to start making money with self-developed machines D:

Crap, I really forgot the 'not' in that sentence! :O

Harhar, yes! I call them 'printers'! They magically summon money when the measurements are given! ;) Then I'll buy the world!

almost all printers these days have built in chips that won't let you print any n ations currency. It pops up a little window telling you that what you are doing is illegal. I umm.. heard that from a friend.

I saw a lot of stories on the news in the USA about kids who were making 20 dollar bills using laser printers. This was in 2003. I heard that the $20 was the most forged bill and they were looking to upgrade its anti-forgery features.

New versions of Adobe Photoshop detect when you are looking at scanned images of money.

Aussie money is really hard to forge, its got little see-thru bits, watermarks, microprinting and its made out of plastic! :O

I once scanned some notes in and make fake ones to fool random people on the street (I was incredibly bored that week) Tricked a couple of friends with them too hehehe.

Hehe, had some fun with my fake notes last night. I was touring some local bars and found some nice people I talked to very long. Since we all were very drunk in the end I said "Yo dude, I like you, so here's hundred bucks for you!" "Huh, wtf, why would you give me 100 bucks, especially US-dollars, what am I supposed to do with'em?" "...exchange them in a bank?" ... and so on :D of course I kept them in the end. T'was fun. Dunno if illegal here ;) but most likely...

Man - that was a way, way, way dumb thing to do. And what was way dumber was, you posted a confession on a bulletin board. You let witnesses see you with it too.

In most places, I'd hazard a guess, all places, POSSESSION of counterfeit currency is enough to send you away for a long time. You are obviously not a kid, ie you can go to bars - so you should know better.

/me notes new plot sequence for Dumb and Dumber 3.

Nah, I don't think (civilian) people take that too serious here. Noone would have real dollars... and of course I don't walk through a bar (or the police!) waving a pile of notes ;) it was a april's joke at the end of the night. I made them for private purposes btw, for a film!
