Need some help

Hi, i'm new here so i'm sorry if i didn't posted in the right place.
I have a problem, i can't start my Hl2 Ep2 because an error appears all the time. the same with TF2 and portal I rally wanna play ep2 because i've finished all the Hl games (except blue shift)

What i've tried so far:
-overclocked my video card with 50MHz (don't wanna destroy my video card)
-changed setting in Nvidia Control Pannel (the settings for the games .exe)
-changed things in the System, OpenGL and Direct3D with GeForceTweakUtility
-used DirectX8 and 9c
i have a GeForce 2MX 400 64MB

Is there a way for me to play Ep2 ? if someone knows PLEASE help me
the last thing i'll try to do if there is no way,i'll use the Garry's mod Engine to run the game

You need at least a 128 MB RAM graphiccard to play Ep2.

I assume you mean graphics card drivers. No. The support for directX 8/9 is built into the hardware itself. I'd recommend buying a new graphics card anyway.

Agreed...I don't think 64MB of video memory is enough to run HL2 efficiently.
