Need Some Help

OK guys, Im going to be building a system formy first time this summer. I need some help deciding on CPUs. AMD wise, Im going with the 3000 with 400FSB, paired with an Asus A7N8X deluxe mobo. Intel wise, I would go with the 2.8C 800FSB, paired with an asus P4P800 deluxe mobo. Give me your ideas about this.

i say intel, i say speed throttling and good OCing is worth the extra dollars, i say get the IS-7 from Abit, it's great (i have it) and i say this is the wrong forum. if the hardware forum is dead, go check hardforum.com
