Need your Advice on upgrade

I have Pentium 4 3.08 GHz 1 gb of ram and a 256mb ati readon 9800 xt what things should i get? new what should I upgrade? i have 1,200$ so please give me your 2 cents on what to get

I don't think you should upgrade anything. Your computer is top-of-the line and will last u at least 3 years.

i get only 38 fps on cs-s with every thing max and resilutuin all the way up

Its a mid-rage computer. You should definitly change cpu. I'm guessing yours is 3.06 ghz? Well I can tell you after switching from 3.06 ghz to A64 3200+ 90nm and overclocked it, I am gettings atleast 30 more fps(that is in CS:S). I have X800 xt pe thought.....its cpu hungry

But you should definitly go for S939 and get yourself a cheap 3200+ and overclock it.

Na its better than mid range, but not top of the line either.
Imo its not worth upgrading yet. You should wait at least 6 months. My specs are similar to yours and im not upgrading for about a year, probably.
