I have a perculiar problem where the dos windows are not reading from CD's. This is a problem to me because I am trying to run some of my older classic games.
One of the games I am trying to play is LBA2. Even though it wasn't officially supposed to work under XP, I had once found a way to play it using the properties tab for the shortcut. This was a few months back, and I unistalled it because the drivable vehicle didn't work properly (you couldn't turn right).
I decided to install it once again and this time play through the whole game, however I get the garbled screen, regardless of property settings. I have even tried it under dosbox, yet it still doesn't work, though this isn't the only thing not to work in the dos environment (pratically all CD's don't work in the dos environment)
So in short I am asking:
-Is somebody playing LBA2 with a particular setting under windows environment?
-Is there away for my CD's to be detected by Dos?
