Never trust intel ever again(apart from proccesors)

like the tittle says NEVER EVER TRUST INTEL AGAIN!!
THEY LIE ALOT
they said i could play far cry 2 on my gma 3100 as seen here:http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/intelg33/sb/CS-030531.htm
but the game is always stuck at the splash screen
and why do i know its a graphics problem????
cos i used 3danalyze and it actually got past the splash screen(but after that it shows a black screen and crashes to the desktop)
and most importantly:NEVER TRUST INTEL
 
Have you tried jumping to conclusions and making ridiculous rage-threads on hl2.net?
 
Well you can get into a game with that rubbish and horrible chip, you obviously have a problem your end.

But hey...it seems it's not worth it. Some advice, don't buy any more new games from today or the past 6 months. You can't run them.

It probably should say Far Cry [1]. Try patching the game?
 
Try jiggling the cable.

Try turning it off and on.

Try hitting it.

I'm out of ideas.
 
You should never assume games will run perfectly on a chipset, no matter what Intel tells you. My own laptop is really moody when it comes to running games.

It can run Warhammer Online pretty decently, but the moment I stick Medieval 2: TW in there it goes 'NOOOOOOO'.
 
hehe sori for the rude shouting but intel should reali test those games out and if there is a workaround, then there should be a details hyperlink to the workaround like say F.E.A.R

Hey kid, (and I think that you're probably pretty young or else demonstratively stupid, based on your spelling and use of words, so kid is probably an appropriate diminutive) I was once like you.

My first post on an internet forum was a complaint at a relic board about poor support for a mod -- blaming relic for this of course, with a little red angry face with parts in all caps like "RELIC DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THE USERS" and a load of other crap. I was 12 years old. I was permanently banned from the boards, and I went on to troll other parts of the internet from there on. My second post was asking what the acronym "lol" stood for. I thought it was actually "101", and was some sort of esoteric computer language.

Here are some things you should know about internet forums:

1. Don't post angry rants that are not also somehow funny or ironic (no, this was not a funny or ironic post, so don't even ask).

2. Don't put any part of your post in all caps unless this is also funny or ironic (no, you don't get to decide what is funny or ironic, you will soon learn.)

3. Internet forums are not instant messaging services. Learn to properly format and spell your posts. Don't put one sentence, or sentence fragments on each line. Type a forum post like you would an email or a letter. Don't spell "because" as "cos" or "cuz," don't spell "before" as "b4" or "you" as "u." Learn the difference between "they're" and "their" and between "your" and "you're" etc.

4. Finally, for God's sake, don't post stupid shit about trying to run top of the line games on your integrated graphics card, and especially don't make it a rant, you will just expose yourself for the young, stupid internet troll that you are.

Maybe they just didn't think someone would try running Far Cry 2 on that brick you call a computer
 
why the heck does intel even program pixel shaders in this dam thing?
might as well just give it 8mb of vram and pixel shader 0.0 and no support for direct x 7.0.....
anyway intel should reali take graphics seriously!!
there are some people who cant afford a new graphics card(or some who are kids with dads who dont allow them to buy one like me :D)
