New Apple 23" Cinema Display

Just got my 23" apple cinema desplay (The new model) with 16ms, hd ready widescreen lcd, with 1920x1200 let me tell you guys that playing farcry at this res as well as others like ut2k4 and call of duty wow even dod and cs look amazingly different anyone that says that crts are better for gaming than lcd's now obviously havnt seen this monster... its like a whole new experience... I took some pics of the monitor and HL2 binks on it, and i would post them but im not sure how?

O and subz and whoever else said that widescreen give it a more cinematic feel was totaly right give games quite a bit extra mmph..!

Yes that i did do unfortunatly but Im highly impressed with it which must be good considering that I hated lcd's before but I decided to bite the bullet and try this one....glad I did. Anyways Im gonna try and get some pics up if I can figure out how to post them.

Yeah that would be really nice Id sell my regular 32" if i had that and then use it for my tv also but wow 3 LARGE for that monster.

OMFG, I actually think you might die of a heart attack if you play HL2 on that! Imagine a f*ckin outdoor firefight and actually being able to see your perifrial vision? Have fun with it bud

Ok thanks man, ill get some up and yeah it was around 2100 plus 100 for the dvi to adc adapter they sold me however the brand new apple models like i have you dont need that extra adapter to hook up to pc so im taking it back. Yeah now Im really pumped to play HL2 I was just playing some hl1 on this thing and HL1 and dod alone felt like something brand new. Pics coming soon guys.

Um yeah without a frame of reference, those pics do absolutely nothing to convey the size of the monitor.

LoL you know it. Yeah I would definitley reccomend getting this monitor, its to put simply badass....but ouch it will hurt yeah a little bit. Farcry Looks AMAZING D3 looks dam good too and I could sware to god that I see more stuff in the binks of HL2 than I ever did on my CRT.
