Um, no one said they were, but certain developers have been doing some amazing things with the PS2 hardware of late, so I wouldn't count it out entirely.

Either way, the game looks damn good for a current gen console title .

Those are no way in hell PS2 screenshots. Looks awesome, but I can't see any character models up close, which are supposed to be rather low in detail to allow for all the nice effects.

xbox and ps2 dont really have a huge noticable difference in gfx so what are u talking about

Wow, the weapons look cool, like new futuristic models of current weapons. That pistol looks like a USP, the rifle looks like a G36 and that silenced thing looks like a mac 10(with a few to many RIS rails in crappy places)

The fog/bloom makes it look painfully obvious how they sacraficed draw distance to get decent gfx...but it just looks so..so.... obvious.
