Some the screens look bland, but having said that when you see it in action it does look spectacular.

Explore a living, dynamic world where earthquakes, breaking ice, landslides, and tornados pose a real and an ever-present danger.

But just one thing about the setting, as far as I know it is supposed to take place in NK. Now in most of those screenies and video's it looks like you are in a tropical enviorment. As far as I know NK is pretty dammed cold and doesn't have any tropical jungles. In the video it looks like a island in the south pacific. with all the clear blue water and the plants.

The graphics we are shown now are from a dx 10 card or atleast a silicon graphics workstation emulating dx10.
