Korpisoturi said:The HDR is just plain crap. It would be great otherwise, but what makes it crap is the fact that it is adjustable, it can be turned off. Just take a look at this pic: http://www.halflife2.net/news//1127675566_dod_anzio0002.jpg
The HDR reduces your sight so much that the players who don't have it will have a significant advantage against the players who use HDR. This means that no one is going to use it. I'd love to see a good looking new DoD with HDR, but it seems that it won't be possible without getting pwned by everyone.

I was starting to warm to the idea of Steam recently (always been scpeticle. especially since the HL2 launch **** up) & I was about to pre-order DoD but since the latest update seems to have renedered my Steam games knackered I don't think I'll bother now - I'm having thoughts of the HL2 launch all over again & It's not good ;(
Didn't have enough time for all that. I basically made the decision to get a Bittorrent tracker up and do the movies all in the space of about 30 minutes. It was a spur of the moment kinda thing.Pi Mu Rho said:Fraps? You n00b. You should have demorecorded/frame dumped and made a nice spinky AVI from that.
