New details on Spider-Man 4, Wolverine and Superman 2.

God Almighty....Spiderman is just gold. $2 Billion, globally...just sick. Spidey engaging in epic battle with an uncooperative turd would rake in $300M domestic, guaranteed.

I want moar non-superhero-based action movies.

Spidey 4 will be fine just so long as they make it as good as the first two, as the third was average at best.

Plus, they are comic book films, which means they have a whole manner of content for a variety of films, as long as it makes the billions, which they do, they will keep coming.

Studios are never going to stop making A sequels or B spin offs to these franchises. They are just too profitable.

If the next 3 spidey films are half as successful as the first 3, we'll be seeing more, no doubt. Same goes with the fantastic four, superman, xmen etc etc and they havn't even tapped the potential of the female super hero market( spiperman, batgirl, wonderwoman etc), even though catwoman and that crap dare devil spin off flopped.

Anyway, yea im super sick of superhero movies/sequels as well. I can't think of too many original (good) action films that have come out this decade....zero come to mind actually.

I'm hoping that Raimi is satisfied with the unprecedented success of the SM franchise and decides to walk away and pursue other works. Im a fan of the spidey films, but I'm a bigger fan of the Evil dead trilogy, darkman, the gift etc.

Id like to see what he can do now that he'll have artistic freedom as well as a financial backing.

Sam Raimi killed the series with Spider man 3. Can't believe they're resurrecting it.

Spiderman 3 has made roughly 850 million dollars worldwide which = more moneys then the other two. I can't believe you can't believe they wouldn't continue to milk the hell out of it. Plus, the distributor signed on for 5 more films after the originals opening weekend.

Oh right, I forgot that hollywood gets off on regurgitating shit every couple years. My bad.

Oh shit. Forget about Wolverine and Spider-Man, they're going to do a young Magneto movie! I seriously, seriously hope it's his real early life, when he's in Auschwitz and his powers first manifest. Oh my God, if they did the story with Magda and Anya, his wife and daughter, that'd be the greatest thing ever. The whole movie should be about Magneto and the Nazis, and then meeting up with Xavier. Magneto's probably my all-time favorite Marvel character, and I'm having a nerdgasm right now.

the link wont work, what does it generally say about spiderman 4 and wolverine?

I liked part 3 the most. 2 after that and 1 was shit.

3 was ****ing horrible. 2 was the best, and 1 was ok...but not as bad as 3. Overrated movies.

Just have to wait until The Dark Knight and Watchmen comes out. Only comic book movies I really care for at this point. Watchmen especially since I will be utterly disappointed no matter what happens.

I agree. Magneto's story has yet to be told, while Wolverine's was already covered in a subplot in X-Men II.

And regarding Spider-Man 4, I wouldn't be opposed to Raimi directing again...we just need someone to write a more cohesive script than Raimi's attempt at Spider-Man 3. They should try and get the writing team from Spider-Man 2 back together to write the script because they clearly knew how to make the source material work well.

I dont agree, but i do agree with them being over rated. The last is the only one that lived up to the hype i had for it.

The 2nd suprised me, in turms of how good it was.

Yeah the second was a pretty awsome experiance, expecially to see it in the cinema. I thought the first was very good too but not as good as the second.

I mean I rated Spidey 3 after seeing it, and gave it the 8/10, I think that was just the hype of it. When I look back, it was rubbish lol.

Spiderman 3 was terrible guys.. just terrible.
WE WANT SUPERHEROES NOT CHICKFLICKS!

Agreed. 2 was the best one by far.

I'm not against Raimi trying to redeem the series with a fourth film.

Let's hope it doesn't turn into "Magneto Rising."
