new driver

I have a 9800pro graphics card and when i first got it I downloaded the catalyst 4.7 driver. But the 4.8 driver came out so I downloaded it, but I dont know how to uninstall my old 4.7 driver. (I did delete the folder )
Im just wondering if this will affect my gameplay and if does how to uninstall it.

Unistall your driver from the Add/Remove program tab!!!!!!! (unstill just like games).

If you don't you'll get trouble with games, since you'll leave vital files in your windows folder which might conflict with the new drivers.

on the list of programs do u know if its called the ati display driver?

Yep, that's the one, once you uninstall it, it will ask you to restart your computer (download the file to the new driver before you uninstall the old one), restart (you'll know if you unistalled the driver if after the restart you're computer defaults to a low res), install the new driver and it'll ask you to restart again, and you're done.
