So guys, when's the new Duke Nukem coming out?
Discuss!

Don't care. And I don't think a lot at the DNF forums do either :p

Eventually it shall come out...

When Xen and Combine invade the planet.

I'm sure after Jesus returns we will be playing Duke Nukem: Forever in the Millenial Kingdom. Cuz Jesus is ****ckin metal.

Where's that video preview of DNF with the grabbing items and minecarts and stuff?

Maybe he's just really excited about something again.

Well the last restart was late 2002,so theres a good chance we will see it in 2006.

This year. :p

Think about it, Duke Nukem 3D was released in 1996. That makes it 10 years after it came out!
AM I RIGHT?

No but seriously, sometime we will hear about it. The question is just... When? Never? I'll guess we'll just have to wait (Like we have been doing now in 5 years). :)

No, no, no. That was your mother.

*sticks out tongue*

On topic though, ...the first game I played was Duke Nukem. Or i think it was Duke Nukem 3D. I forget. Might have been doom. Or Warcraft II.

It was pretty weird though.

Oooh, that E3 2001(1999?) video of DN:F, was so god damn cool...

I wish they'd just release that for free or something.
I have a strong feeling we'll be hearing some DN:F news in 2006... Probably June 6th, 2006

I honestly don't know... Don't really care anymore to be honest. I'll check it out if it ever gets released though.

I love that trailer, looked so awesome back then. :(

Download it here, if you want to see it again. :)

The graphics were really nice looking, especially the characters and some of the environments.

Man, I hate watching that video... Makes me wanna play the game so damn badly. :(

im still a huge 3drealms fan. Every game they put out was soooo freaaaaking fun. Duke3d, blakestone, shadow-warrior... and many others lol. I have a feeling though that this game isnt really going to be finished. I think a couple of years down the road with next gen tech... then they might do sumthing. But till then.. ill juss go use my old 600, and whoop some duke3d ass on windows98.

PEACE

Mike

it's going to be halarious when DNF actually releases and nobody thinks it's actually out, I think they should release on steam or something as well as retail.. so we can get our hands on it AS SOON as it hits the market. I just hope even if it takes a couple more years... that a new full fledged duke hits the market.

You think them sunglasses make you look cool or sumthin? herhe

It just looks awesome.... the end of the video is funny with the old man and that dancer who looked pretty good.

I noticed that when I was watching the video on GameSpot below the video it says:

"Duke Nukem Forever (PC)
By: Gathering, 3D Realms
Release Date: Jan 1, 2010"

I know its just a speculation, but DAMN thats far from now. But I doubt it'll be that far from now, we'll just have to see now don't we?

I don't care and I'm sure that's the way people should think about it. I'm sure there's some kind of smart equation where "Time Waited" x "Interest" = Expectation. Therefore, Duke Nukem Forever will be the single most anticipated computer game in the history of the world, and it will never, ever be able to meet those expectations.

Mind you, I never played Duke Nukem (well, I played a bit of the Shareware) and i've got it marked as "not my kind of thing" anyway.

Most people wont know its been in development for so long.So if its a good game when it eventually comes out it wont matter.

Duke Nukem Forever is the single most legendarily delayed game in existance. The gaming sites and magazines never stop going on about it. An exceedingly large percentage of PC gamers aren't the "pick it off the shelf" mainstream. Almost all will at the very least see the End of year awards in Sites and Magazines, which always manage to mention DN4 somewhere. Virtually everyone who buys this game will do so knowing it has been delayed.
