Whether or not it will be worth the wait is another question all together. My guess is probobly not. If all we're looking at is great physics and the ability to shit in random toilets....this will be an epic disappointment. I'm sorry, but HL2 has set the interactive bar quite high and IMO, graphics are peaking with games like FEAR, HL2 and Doom 3. IMO, HL2 has brought it all together better than probobly any game before it and all games after will probobly be "more of the same".
I'm hoping for a great game, but I'm going to be realistic and not get overly hyped. As long as they've taken to make this game, it's going to have to be something pretty spectacular to win me over. BTW, pardon my cynicism, but I already purchased this game in 2001, and my prepurchase was somehow misplaced....so this would be the second time I've purchased it.
Actaully I recieved the New PcGamer(US) and in the back where it says about whats coming next month there was a quote that read.......
"We've got a world exclusive announcment that is so big, so juicy, and so unbelievably, mind-blowingly fun that you're probably going to wet yourself upon seeing the cover. Prepare yourself. Either with household objects such as old t-shirts to stuff down your pants or maybe Depends would work better. Whichever whay you go, so long as you're prepared to get a little damp in the seat, you'll be ready for our march issue"
Could this be the climactic return of DNF?!!?!?!?!!? FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
