woohoo, i love waiting in line. shout if anyone has a mirror for this, can't seem to find one.

Just goto the official website, www.farcry-thegame.com for a direct link d/l. Even with crappy campus internet I'm getting 150 kb/s with DAP... so I'm sure you broadband-goers will get higher speeds.

*5 Minutes Later*

Wow. That was a much better trailer than I had expected. Lots of old and new footage. It played out like a movie trailer actually...with narration and everything. It runs for 2 minutes 12 seconds. Seriously though...the way they show it...it might as well be a movie trailer. I wouldn't doubt that with a big success of this game...a crappy movie could be in the works.

That just left me even more excited for the game now :)

Wow, I'm impressed. The narrative sounds like something from a major motion picture.

I guess a lot of you have already seen more Far Cry stuff than most however. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person who isn't in the mp_beta.

Glad they added that bit at the end in there to tie in the demons... or I was gonna be all like WTF! Anyway, as long as it actually runs (as opposed to the demo)... should be good! :)

Hey Now im begining to understand. The expermints the mercs where talking about are some kind of super soldier thing.
I mean it makes sence, Islands, guards, facility, it only needs a g man and it would be half life the tropical version. :)
 
Nice trailer. I loved the shot of the working volcano. I hope thats playable.

looks impressive. not sure what they're trying to achieve with a movie style trailer though. delusions of grandeur or am i reading too much into this...eh...still gonna buy it.
 
It kinda started to sound like an advertisement for Survivor: [insert island name here].

i doubt it would come out thou....like they always say about movies after games....they never come out
 
This game is going to be just awesome. Looking forward to this one more than Doom 3 personally.
