New Futurama episodes

A while ago I heard that they were making a new series of Futurama, which would be 4 Futurama films split into 20-minute episodes that work independent of each other. Then I heard nothing.

Anyone know more than that?

I think the first movie one is coming out sometime in the next 4 months. Definately before the end of the year for sure.

EDIT: The first movie will be released on November 27th.

So... how long is each film going to be? Am I right in reading this as each film will have a few episodes to itself, and not as four films 20 minutes long?

As far as I know, the films will be 4 episodes in length. So think of it like 16 episodes total when it's all said and done.

Phew! That's what I presumed, I've just not seen it set in stone like that anywhere. That's a relief.
