F.E.A.R (First Encounter Assault and Recon) = Insane gfx latest dx has for 2005. Get the pc game Usa august issue for a good article and a 3 Screen shots. Not much on this game yet but it looks kicka*s. I mean look at the video. INSANE!

I like the looks of the game, the way melee and gund work in sync as well as the slow mo function could act as a sweet game, wonder if it happens in MP?

Monolith are a great company and i dont doubt that this will be a great game.

She's only on screen for less than a second in the elevator..

hmm not really but what happens in the vid is:

he jumps of a helicoptor, shoots some guards, shows off some lighting, shoots some more guards, shows of some fancy slo mo, shoots some more guards. Goes into an elevator, then it get weird.

a bit OT but the game really feels like a manga.

They curse in this game so i think it might be rated A, finally a game rated A, this has to be a kick a*s game just has to be. If its rated A imagin how much f**cked up crap they can put it in. OH YA!

Wow i cant even think anymore, it's still very far away from release and looks amazing. If its rated A ill jump and yell like a little girl.

A is Adults only, iv never played a game that they say f**c in, and did you see how much blood was on everything. (near end of movie when you meet your partner) If they do rate it A it would be a lot better. MORE GORE!

So list some games with A ratings, cursing with M rating.

I suggest you go play either Silent Hill (a lot gorier in some sequences) or Max Payne (Vinnie deserves the "most utterances of **** in a video game" award. ). For further details, go play Vice City.

Let's see, The Suffering and Riddick are two good examples. Riddick in particular says everything from shit to mother****er many, many times.

Played Silent Hill was good, Max Payne had good story but i didnt find that a gory game and Vice city is the stupidest easiest most pointless game i have ever played. If you think vice city is gory i dont know what to say.

Major disagreement there.. but that is why we all have opinions.

I like HL's simplicity. FEAR looks like a game where you will have to memorize 40 different keys to play effectively.

The gfx in the video didn't look that amazing, but that was probably because it had the resolution of poo. The screenshots I've seen look good though. Although I wasn't aware there were wickyMaxPayne bits...

I don't like how they show a clear view of her in the cutscene at the end. I mean, the whole reason she is scary is because you don't know anything about her, but then they ruin it.
