Ok, so we haven't seen new half life 2 media from valve lately have we. Attitude on these forums have been dead, depressed, and sad.

Well, cry no more!!!! I have some exclusive HL2 Media!!!

-=Merry Christmas!!!=-
-=Stryder!!!!=-

If valve won't release any new media shots, I just make them myself!!!! Common, why don't the rest of you get of your lazy depressed bums and lets see some more HL2 media. (Try to be semi-authentic)
 
Hey, I live in Australia, there is no such thing as a white christmas this side of the globe.
 
HEY!!!! There's snow in the park, and the pond is iced over!!! I'm sorry there aint snow on the roads, but the combine cleared them earlier in the day.

As for christmas without snow -- well the pics could use some, sure, but I'm happy with the 2 feet we've got outside already. =)

Well, he's also stepping in a large puddle notice ;). It helps with electrocuting it. Just don't step in that pond.




Considering I only spent a little over an hour (total) making the strider model + crowbar model + light-strings model + textures for those models + snow & frostedIce textures, me thinks it is pretty good :)

One question, do you have school vacation in like....december/january?
 
I live in NZ, pretty much works the same as Australia. Yeah we get holidays over Christmas time, if I remember correctly school holidays go from December 18th to early February some time. And I would much rather have a New Zealand Christmas/New Years than a Yank one... sub zero temperatures or 25 degrees?

If you have any doubt of my 3D modeling capabilities, just browse my main website (www.GryphonAuto.com) for 5 minutes or so. I hope valve did a much better job making the strider than I did, because I only spent like 15-20 minutes making it at most.

haha nice, I bet striders will be like those huge tank like beasts that had flame thrower hands and stomped around roaring real loud

aka you gota use enviorment in tricky ways to take care of them

Well, we have four periods of holidays throughout the year, two weeks sometime in April, two weeks around June/July, two weeks around September/October, then a whole buch of weeks through December to about the middle of February.

But if you're at University, like me, then its twelve weeks, then a two week break around June/July, then another twelve weeks, then a break of about 26 weeks from some time in the middle of November to way into next year...

Meh, if anyone wants the model, I don't have any use for it. Just don't go around claming you made it.

The second. Just a lazy jab at the arrogance exhibited when it came to the beta fiasco, although I was also too lazy to make my intentions clear. :devil:
