heres some new HL2 info for you, the source is GAMESTAR, germanys biggest gaming mag, so the source is reliable:


- in the beginning of HL2 Gordon Freeman wont remember anything about what happened in HL1

- there's some sort of co-op modification for hl2 in production, developed not by valvesoftware themselves but a mod team which is officially supported & supervised by valve

- if you shoot at Alyx, she'll shoot back

If you shoot alyx she will shoot you back? No friggin duh, sorry, but that info is either already known, or too obvious. There are tons of interviews with various Valve members, go read those for in depth info. Mostly boring technical stuff, but its cool.

I haven't heard this before. It's well known that Freeman has no memory of the intervening years between the two games, but I don't think its been said that he has no memory of the Black Mesa incident itself. This is quite interesting if its true.
